The word 'Supercar' was coined for this car in the 1960s when reviewed by CAR Magazine, and that says it all.

The Miura was the world's first mid-engined road car, that was soon to become the template for nearly all future supercars.

Designed by a handful of Lamborghini's young engineers in their spare-time, against the company's wishes, the Miura blew the world away at the Turin motor show.
